The Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems Centre for Doctoral Training (AAPS CDT) at the University of Bath is hosting a week-long Research Incubator examining the role of hydrogen in the future of transport.

IAAPS has implemented a series of new appointments to its senior leadership team with effect from 1^st of January 2023, including Executive Director, Research Director and Academic Director.

Professor Gary Hawley, Executive Director of IAAPS, has been named Person of the Year in the Automotive Testing Technology International Awards 2022. In addition, the new IAAPS facility was also shortlisted as Powertrain Test Facility of the Year.

IAAPS’ new website, which went live in July this year, has been hailed best in class for user experience at this year’s ‘Techies Awards Swindon and Wiltshire’.

IAAPS Ltd has announced changes within its organisational structure, strengthening its leadership team and streamlining reporting lines to accelerate the next growth and scale-up phase of the business.

Chris Skidmore, MP for the South Gloucestershire constituency of Kingswood, paid a visit to the IAAPS facility at the Bristol & Bath Science Park on Friday, meeting members of the senior leadership team to discuss the future opportunities for sustainable fuel and hydrogen innovation in the region.

IAAPS is once again returning to the Low Carbon Vehicle Show (LCV), the UK’s leading trade event for the low carbon transport sector. 

IAAPS is among a number of key research and innovation institutions, businesses, industries and local authorities which form part of a new regional hydrogen network, having been recognised for their pioneering roles in the field.
