IAAPS is co-hosting a webinar series focused on sustainable transport with hydrogen in collaboration with Setsquared, administrator of the new Hydrogen & Sustainable Transport Economy Accelerator (HSTEA) initiative which provides a comprehensive range of expertise, finance and scale-up assistance for businesses and institutions looking to grow in this increasingly important sector.
The free-to-attend webinar will take place on the 30th of November 2023 between 9am and 10.15am. Click here to register for the virtual event. A full list of speakers will be announced shortly and will include representatives from IAAPS, Setsquared, Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC), SMEs and academia.
The webinar provides an in-depth overview of the wealth of hydrogen research happening across the West of England and how businesses can harness the power of hydrogen technologies to make a visible transformation towards cleaner and more sustainable operations. The region already boasts a cluster of high-value engineering and tech companies and is home to nationally renowned R&D facilities, all working to transform the transport sector and accelerate the route to net zero with green hydrogen applications.
Attendants will also have the chance to find out about the HSTEA programme and the support and funding opportunities it offers, including a package of innovation, investment and growth support for start-ups and SMEs in the sector, access to an online community via an Innovation Platform, networking opportunities, one-to-one clinics with advisors and academics in the field, as well as access to collaborative research and development. Additional funding opportunities, including the APC’s Technology Development Accelerator Programme (TDAP) will also be introduced.
